Yes you can terminate your policy subject to the terms and condition in your policy document. Please refer to a section under Surrender of Policy in the policy document in your possession. Where this is not applicable, then you cannot terminate your policy.
You have every right to call our office to confirm your beneficiaries at any time during the policy duration
Policy backdating is not allowed as there is no economic gain attached to it. This only leads to loss of benefits and interest on capital.
We would communicate to you once the necessary change has been made
However, cash payment is totally discouraged. You are advised to either complete the Direct Debit Mandate or write a cheque for the payment of your premiums
Your account might not be debited for the following reasons;• If you completed a wrong account name or number on your mandate form
• If you did not complete all the required fields on the mandate form
• If your account is not funded on the due date
For your Direct Debit to be cancelled alongside your policy cancellation,• you must ensure we receive your cancellation notice not later than two week before your next premium due date
• you must submit or send a letter duly signed by you in your regular signature
In the case of death, the policy document and the underlisted documents are required:Death Certificate
Medical Certificate of Cause of Death
Police Report if death is as a result of accident
Birth Certificate if this has not been submitted before death
